The role:

To provide support for the London office and help implement high quality B2B public relations programs for clients.

Description of roles & relationships:

Metia Influence is a business-to-business agency focused on the financial services technology market. We are comprised of several teams each lead by an account director. This position sits within a team of PR and AR professionals and reports into an account manager

Key responsibilities:

• Build relationships with journalists in target publications and with Metia’s clients
• Generate coverage for clients in target publications through press release distribution and interview coordination
• Use social media tools such as Twitter and LinkedIn to supplement PR campaigns
• Create written content including press releases, blogs and pitches
• Develop an understanding of clients’ businesses and their industries, especially fin-tech, financial services and technology
• Prepare client reports and ensure documents are kept up to date

Person Specification:

• Degree level qualification and/or relevant industry experience can be through internship
• An enthusiastic, can-do attitude
• A passion for writing
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• The ability to effectively manage and prioritise own workload
• Microsoft Office literate including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Keen adoption of social media
