An independent marketing agency with big ambitions, we’ve offices in London, Seattle, Austin, and Singapore. Our clients are large corporations and ambitious start-ups. We provide them with structured campaigns that reach across geographies, scale massively, can be deployed systematically, and are measured relentlessly.

For this role we are looking for an experienced Senior Customer Evidence Manager to work within one of our clients – one of the leading global tech brands – to deliver their world class customer stories.

This role will be working closely with multi-disciplinary teams both within the client environment as well as internal Metia teams to ensure the voice of the customer resonates across various digital channels. You will be client facing, interacting with senior leadership and working directly with customers for story discovery, content creation and final content approval. A key part of this role is working with digital channel owners across the company to plan and execute amplification plans for each story and drive internal communications to a broad set of stakeholders.

Metia has strategic services designed to support our clients in the areas of Insight, Content, and Demand. These services are based upon deep expertise, proven methodologies, and are enabled by unique tools and systems.

In the past two years we’ve delivered marketing campaigns into almost 90 countries and 40 languages.

What you will do

  • Grow customer story opportunities across the marketing spectrum, from content capture to production and amplification.
  • Build and cultivate relationships and opportunities within the client placement.
  • Collaborate with product marketing groups and other stakeholders to understand customer story objectives against business priorities and key performance indicators (KPIs) to highlight competitive advantage.
  • Work with clients to understand their solution, industry trends, and other elements to inform customer story creation.
  • Drive alignment across all teams, identify and mitigate risks for assigned projects and set expectations for content delivery and review cycles, while negotiating deadlines and balancing competing business objectives.
  • Understand performance outcomes and use data to refine best practices for other customer story creators.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create Business-to-Business (B2B) content to support sales pipelines – preferably in the B2B tech space.
  • Understand buyer needs and leverage customer insights and trends to transform findings into relevant and useful content for marketing collateral, enhancing the quality of our customer stories.
  • Oversee project allocation, demonstrating your ability to understand and manage budgets.
  • Make sound business decisions that balance competing priorities, whilst inspiring creativity & innovation.
  • Above all you will drive results and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.

What you need to bring

  • Experience in customer evidence/customer advocacy
  • A passion for B2B in general and technology specifically
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience in creating and delivering integrated marketing strategies and programmes
  • Experience working with large international corporate brands
  • EMEA wide or international marketing experience
  • Outstanding client handling skills - setting expectations, delivering campaigns and evaluating success
  • Strong financial management skills in relation to client budgets and resource management
  • A desire to use data in devising campaigns and delivering relevant outcomes
  • An understanding of what a good return on marketing investment looks like
  • An ability to develop new opportunities, within current clients, in new business, or internally at Metia
  • An interest in and appreciation of the wider marketing and communications landscape and an appetite to bring new ideas to your clients
  • A desire to work within (and where relevant, manage) a diverse team of varying skillsets spanning the entire marketing spectrum
  • Confidence and experience in juggling several large projects simultaneously
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach
  • University degree
