Natural user interfaces: looking beyond touch

It is worth spending 15 minutes of your life with this playing in the background - you'll find it easy to tune in, and stay tuned into, the content.

Steve Clayton does a nice job of capturing the sorts of changes we will see in what used to be called the man-machine interface. Today the subject is more often packaged up as natural user interfaces (NUI).

Most people think NUI stops at touch-based devices (bless the iPad for getting us this far) but this video shows us there are many more possibilities beyond what may soon be called 'simple' touch.

Steve blogs about things that Microsoft are investigating at his Next at Microsoft blog and the talk was delivered at the PSFK event in NY.
