LONDON – 25th January, 2023 – Metia Group, the global B2B marketing agency, has promoted Ben Atherton to the position of Managing Director of its UK business with responsibility for overseeing customer services and operations for clients in the UK and EMEA.
Since joining Metia in May 2022 as Client Services Director, Ben has demonstrated his ability to build strong client relationships and grow the business. Ben will report directly to Andrew Martin, Group CEO, and will also join Metia’s Global Leadership Team.
Ben will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of B2B campaigns and programs integrating its insight, content and demand methodologies. Through its operations in the US, UK and Singapore, Metia serves global B2B and tech brands including Amazon, Dell, Microsoft and Finastra.
Metia’s in-house capabilities include marketing strategy, audience insight and behavioural science using proprietary tools, an international content creation network, content planning, paid media demand optimisation, media and analyst outreach, web design and development.

Ben brings more than 20 years of corporate and creative agency experience to the role having supported marketing projects for some of the world’s most recognisable brands. Prior to joining Metia Ben had built extensive experience working client-side, including EY, AstraZeneca and Cisco Systems. He has also held senior client director roles at The Creative Engagement Group.
