SINGAPORE, 26th March 2024 – The National Environment Agency (NEA) Singapore has recently announced its collaboration with Metia Group to invigorate its social media strategy and channels. The NEA is the leading public organisation responsible for ensuring a clean and sustainable environment for Singapore.
Metia Group has been reappointed as the social agency of record by the NEA, with a focus on expanding its audience and enhancing engagement across various social media platforms. Tasked with managing NEA’s corporate social media channels, the Metia team will provide comprehensive support encompassing strategy development, planning, and monitoring.
Following a rigorous pitching process that involved 26 different agencies vying for the social media tender, Metia Group emerged as the selected partner. The contract spans 12 months initially, with provisions for extension up to four more years.
This partnership aims to enhance NEA's online presence and brand identity, while promoting understanding of its initiatives. NEA seeks to engage the public by increasing social media following, crafting compelling content, fostering positive relationships, promoting desirable behaviours, and inspiring environmental consciousness.
